I got the call I've been waiting for earlier this week...our residency permits were approved! From here on everything will be happening really fast! I resigned my position yesterday, we have to go to DC on May 24th and we want renters in our house by June 1st! We need to leave May 22nd to make the drive and my last day of work is May 21st. So, everything has to be gone and we need to have things packed up and cleaned by the 20th of May...nearly one month from now! Luckily, we have a giant garage sale on May 19th, but it's going to be cutting it really close. Then once we return from our vacation, on June 2nd, we only have a few weeks until we become residents of another country. Exciting stuff! Now if only I could quit being so anxious and stop feeling like I'm constantly going to vomit!
